Fuerteventura, the second largest of Spain’s Canary Islands, sits in the Atlantic Ocean 100km off the north coast of Africa. It’s known primarily as a holiday destination due to its white-sand beaches and year-round warmth cooled by constant winds; with a multitude of beaches that wrap around it interrupted by cliffs and sheltered coves. It’s popular for water sports, especially surfing, windsurfing and waterskiing and excellent for photography.

Lanzarote:
Lanzarote is one of the Canary Islands, located off the northwest coast of Africa. It is known for its unique volcanic landscapes, stunning beaches, and a mild climate that makes it a year-round destination. The island covers an area of approximately 845.9 km² and features a variety of attractions that cater to different interests, from natural wonders to cultural sites. Photographic Info: F9 6 sec Canon Eos 500 February 2013. I was lucky to find this miniature Lanzarote on the north coast of Fuerteventura, to try and align the peaks up.
